Emergency
For any emergency — crash, fire, medical, or a crime in progress. Call 911 first.
This page pulls the safety facts from our lot list into one place, so you can pick a stop with your eyes open — even at 1 a.m.
Start with the filters. On the home page list, check “Gated or fenced” and “Cameras on record”. The list then shows only lots where a source states that fact.

Big chain truck stops have staff on site all night, plus a store and restrooms. Many private yards are gated and quiet but have no staff at night. Neither fits every driver. Pick the one that fits your night.
Lot pages with an aerial view show the yard from above: gates, entrances, light poles, and how alone the lot sits. Check it before you go — not when you get there.
We do not score or label any lot “safe”. We show what a source states — a gate, cameras, lights, staff — and the date we checked it. You make the call.

In the Dallas–Fort Worth area, dial 511 for traffic and road information. (511 is not a statewide Texas number.)
